Graeme is right this infuriates me Talked to the Inside Applicant today (that got the job) and the amount that she is getting paid is what the standard wage is at that particular setting £9+. So they aint saving any money with having her employed. As for being over qualified i didnt think that they would want anybody that has NO qualifications at all...bearing in mind this person is a qualified hairdresser...!!! Sickens me to think that someone with NO qualifications or experience with working with children can be employed in such a high demanding setting with children with special needs/ disbabilities. Makes me wonder why i spent three years training at college...when i could have come right out of school education and gone into a job at a click. Oh well the jobs been taken now, guess just gotta keep my eye out for another job!!! Non will have been better than that one though, something i have always wanted to do, work with children with special needs/ disabilties. FINGERS CROSSED FOR A JOB TURNING UP SOMEWHERE SOON PEOPLE!

I'm getting someone to text me tonite when they do go forward... as last time that the clocks went back i got up for work an hour early... oops I stood there wondering why it was still dark and why my lift hadn't come... It could only happen to me!! (lets hope am up for work at the right time in the morning)

An invention... for a 5 year olds homework i have never heard that before when teaching in schools!! Children of this age are too young, to be doing a homework activity like this. Thats a good idea to make a stand for the child's favourite toys... Or even i would look for maybe an invention that was a car... of how the child would like the car to be... use cardboard boxes and even wood!! Let the child paint it. A lovely messy job!! Have fun Let us all know what you do.
