just made mine out of some 50mm box section and some big caster wheels off of one of those really big wheelie bins. its perfect and the bigger wheels make it easy to move over bumpy ground or on to a trailer like i have to. i got my wheels of a guy who works on the bins who said thay have loads of old broken bins in the yard so got him a few beers and he got me 4 brakes

im in the middle of a resto on one of my escorts and i have been given a lotus engine and box its a 2.2 twin over head cam out of a esprit i think it a 912 engine has anyone ever fitted one in a mk1 escort if so any pics and how hard is it to fit? i remember seeing a mk1 at pod a few years ago with a lotus engine that looked the same as it lays over to one side i think it was 2 tone blue and silver??!! or does anyone know of any others?

what do i need to do with it? would that affect the temp gauge on its own as its been abit random the last few days up to red then down to the middle ??

i was driving home from work today and sat in traffic for 20 mins no probs then got a mile from home when the temp went off the scale then the fuel gauge went up off the scale so i pulled over asap and checked the engine and it was fine not over heating as far as i know so waited 20 mins and it still the same off the scale so just drove home so not a clue what happend will see what it does in the morning i hope its not a over heating problem! has anyone ever had this or know what it could be?

where is the best place to get fibre glass mex wings from and what is the best way to fix them? i have been looking for steel ones but the last set on ebay went for £1100 they were new but i cant afford that!

does anyone konw of a good welder or bodyshop around northampton /mk/bedford area i need loads of weldind doing, tramp bars and panard rod fitting so would rather someone who works on fords i would do it myself but just have no time and am always busy with work and kids and would like it doing by a pro
