i know what your sayin about Ashley manifolds however until funds allow a shiney 105speed manifold, it looks like i am stuck with it the only reason i am considering wrapping is coz when the engine is hot i am getting the dreaded starter click at petrol stations etc. the starter is fine but is just not liking the heat thats radiating from the exhaust. do you rekkon that my best bet is to try some form of heat shield around the starter then ? thoughts again please people

Hi all , as per title really ashley exhaust manifold on my zetec. have heard some horror stories about heat wrapping cheap manifolds but there must be plenty of successful stories, thoughts please people

i have spent six years living in total on cyprus at both ends of the island. there are quite a few old skool fords out there but many of them now are just sitting in peoples gardens etc. you tend to find the odd enthusiast but nothin really on the scale of the uk. when i lived near the Famagusta boarder the Turks seem to be more into the scene from what i saw and who i spoke too. The island is flooded with jap imports so thepetrol heads that meet up are more into the 'fast and furious' style cars

Aliweld ,near Blaydon- first tues of every month 2. metro center - first weds of every month / silverlink - third weds of month 3. leeming lodge meet - see the meets section. usually start from around April. keep an eye on here for more info
