My engines not peaky is got lots of mid-range grunt so hoping it can pull from lowish revs ok but won't know until i've tried it up there really . I might fit a 4:4 and try that one time but won't unless i really have to because my motorway cruising speed will drop down i done a 13.19 with 4:1 but it just try and error realy a. good luck i also was doing about 130 mph down the mad mile racing wayne pow in his purple corsa once 4th gear flat out at 8000 rpm

Ive got quaife 2.39 or 2.48 first i think cant remember exactly and used to have a 4:4 salisbury with standard shafts and launching off the line at 6000rpm spinning a little then hocking up and going how i never broke a shaft i dnt know. your engine maybe different to mine tho i find mine dnt pull hard until way up the rev range

them tyres are the nuts didnt spin up at all on my 13.0 just bog down then went gaz you've got to get out of the gate to get good times

what gaz said billy didnt tighten the f/wheel propley after having it refaced whitch it didnt need so it rattled the end of the crank beyound repair so i fitted a new crank and shells whitch was the first major component change since i built the engine for daryll. this time the oil cooler pipe burst mid track due to perishering whitch was a owner error as it was leaking before laying the car up and he forgot about [ shit happens] so a quick reclaim of 3 rods and a quick regrind it will be all good. THATS MOTOR SPORT FOR YOU This could be an good excuse to have more work done and knock the bhp up to see him in the 11s You know that

The oil filter gasket let go not good. bigger and better next time

Yeah thats right the engine has been rattled bigtime the oil let go 3/4 the way up the track oil went everywhere all over n/s tyres sending me completely sideways nearly into the barrier at 100mph how i got it back i do not know but i still did 12.7 on second run. but i did need a change of boxers i've never been so scared in a car in my life . i've took the engine out its done the crank and 3 rods dnt worry tango will be back soon hopefully
