  5. Just the job mate thanks! I assumed they would be more mk1 based but better to be safe than stuck with the wrong cage. Pard
  6. Anybody? Theres a mk1 rear cage in parts for sale. Just unsure of fitment Any help would be apreciated. Pard
  7. Camber shims can be fitted. Usually fitted to correct negative camber to save on tyres but they can be used for an adverse effect. Negative camber is goood! Pard
  8. I want to cage my mk2 estate but I am unsure. Am I to buy a mk1 escort cage as they are similar to mk1s or will a mk2 cage do it? Any ideas. Pard

  10. Was watching this too as it was very local to me an might of had a dabble. Looks a good project.
  11. Id say depending on the size of the wheel, the acceptable amount differs I regularly balance 18" + wheels and draw the line around 120g then still advise the customer. On a 13" I wouldnt like to go above 50g But im no profesional Pard
  12. Got some opinions off here about my new wheel choice. The general opinion was get it lower! So i did... While out and about taking pics we stumble across two blokes doing the same. Got a cheeky one of the Capri. Other geezer was in a mint Mk1 Golf GTi Even though I love the look of it... they really aren't practical. Scrubbing over tiny bumps and I dont rlly wanna bash the arches out, so its back on the Comps More pics to follow. Thanks to Jard for the pics. All comments welcome
