  2. I am hoping to be opening my own business soon and need a bit of help on a name I am going to be doing alloy wheel refurbishment (powder coating) along with general powder coating. Im after an name like Elite wheels and powder coating. But alot of decent names are taken. Any ideas? No commission Cheers, Pard

  7. Camber shims can be fitted. Usually fitted to correct negative camber to save on tyres but they can be used for an adverse effect. Negative camber is goood! Pard
  8. I want to cage my mk2 estate but I am unsure. Am I to buy a mk1 escort cage as they are similar to mk1s or will a mk2 cage do it? Any ideas. Pard

  11. Id say depending on the size of the wheel, the acceptable amount differs I regularly balance 18" + wheels and draw the line around 120g then still advise the customer. On a 13" I wouldnt like to go above 50g But im no profesional Pard
  12. Got some opinions off here about my new wheel choice. The general opinion was get it lower! So i did... While out and about taking pics we stumble across two blokes doing the same. Got a cheeky one of the Capri. Other geezer was in a mint Mk1 Golf GTi Even though I love the look of it... they really aren't practical. Scrubbing over tiny bumps and I dont rlly wanna bash the arches out, so its back on the Comps More pics to follow. Thanks to Jard for the pics. All comments welcome

  16. Its got single leafs on it at the minute. Where can i get them decambered?
  17. My dad has made me some 3" blocks. They have a wider base to go with the extra height. Im still using the U bolts from a 2" kit as there is sufficient thread on them. Id like some thoughts please? Anyone had them done before, are they safe? ill get pics of them on tomorow if the rain knocks off. Cheers, Pard
  18. Looking into getting it as low as possible. Its already on 2" blocks and front springs. Think im gonna have to get custom. Also got some 32mm spacers coming for it. Thanks for all the comments
