I'm sure the set up is 300....I got the coilovers with Spax adjustable inserts and brembo brakes as a deal

It was the sidewall that was bothering me with how i want the coilovers set up in didn't want it to be to harsh a ride.....the days of me bouncing down road and putting up with it are long gone lol

Due to me changing rear axle on my capri I need to change wheels.iv got 16's at min but looking at 17's 8.5j front 9.5j back My question is who's running 17's and what's it drive like with them on...I'll stick with 16's if need be but I can only get 245s in 16's

They seem to be the same....I've read people running 600bhp through standard ones so when time comes to fit turbos it should be up to job with a lsd kit aswel Plus It has disc brakes so saved me abit

You make a good point aardvark lol Escort mk1v6....I've seen the one that's on safety devices website and GSM performance website both cages look the same though so unsure if they get them from same manufacturer. Has anyone had a cage from these places?? Vista.....it's a sbc 385 with ally heads.its not as heavy as a standard small block but even ally heads weigh some. So on guess my next question is...is anyone running a full cage on the street?

Looked into that too it's one certain kind that you can put the Daimler or mk2 jag internals in and again years ago pretty frequently available but these days everything's getting harder and more expensive to find..... Also looked at the volvo axle that was used in a lot of drag cars because it was strong but hens teeth these days

What jag axles have the Lsd as standard I don't mind doing fab work to fit the carrier cage..where there's a will there's a way and all that

Is there a jag axle that could cope with it you think?

I thought about a 9" but they ain't regularly available these days

Hi.what Lsd do you guys think will be best to run in a atlas axle that would be capable of running 700bhp+....running on street and strip.....I'm going to use a pair of 255 40 17s on a set of 17x10j steels on rear also

I once had a bloke come for a Capri axle I was selling who was into bangers,he thought he was being smug telling me he just bought a 2 door yes 2 Granada off a old women even showed me pics and admitted it was in really good nick but didn't care he was going to use it in a banger event anyway,well he was acting smug untill I told him In no uncertain terms to push off without the axle.....while ever banger racing is going classic cars will always be in danger once the really really scrap cars are gone what then?? Wouldn't have thought ud get much banging out of a plastic modern car and cant see banger "boys" paying......
