  3. as the title i am after the two ends that finish the chrome work on the front wings as mine are different any ideas much appreciated chris

  6. alright guys i have been offerd a 2L pinto engine that is a runner iv been told its a blue block from an early ford the guy wants £150 quid so is this an alright price cheers chris

  8. Thought it was about time i added some pictures of Tina. Been cracking on all weekend with my mate who is going to be painting her, you will see him in the pics. Just think 12 hours saturday and ten hours sunday you be pissed too! He say's if all goes well should be in primer the weekend. Hope you like her, will keep you updated. Chris

  10. alright guys want some ideas the mk1 cortina is on her way for new shiny paint and parts and and am thinkin for the future what engine to run been told by a good freind to use a bored out 2L pinto all the way with a stage 3 head as this will be my first engine ill of built was wondering what you ford nutters thought cheers chris

  13. do any of you more experienced cortina nuts no how you remove the top chrome strip that runs around the edge of the roof above the doors as i am nearly all striped down and am unsure how this comes off with out breaking it cheers chris

  15. thanks when i slid the black rubbers off the wireing go`s to a brass bullet is that what you say to pull apart as it go`s into the back of the light and there are no more bullets and yes my rubbers are broke to so thanks for the link!!
  16. alright guys started the strip down tonight ready for the new paint and all is good how ever i took of the three nuts off that hold the rear light in place but was wondering how to remove the wireing do i need to strip the unit as the retaining screw is rusted through thanks chris
  17. it,s the 1500 with webber and a 4 branch manifiold took her out last night and just love it old fords are just ace being 26 my old man just loves the tina to your comments have been great thanks for the great welcome chris
  18. had my mate round last night who,s a top sprayer for bmw said it was agood body to work with and that we can start next week on the repairs and get her ready for paint are things like the badges and chrome trims easy to get and fit expensive?

JUST A QUICK HELLO AM NEW TO THE FORUM AND THE CORTINA IS NEW TO ME FROM SUNDAY CAN ANYONE HELP WITH WHERE TO GET PARTS FROM THE CAR IS IN GREAT CONDITION BUT I WANT TO GIVE IT SOME NEW PAINT AND WANT TO CHANGE THINGS LIKE THE RUBBERS AND SOME CHROME TRIM WILL TRY AND GET SOME PICS UP OR YOU CAN SEE IT ON PISTON HEADS ITS THE MK1 AT THE BOTTOM FOR 2 GRAND BUT GOT HER FOR 1700 THANKS FOR ANY HELP CHRIS
