  1. Thanks all! Yup, we see them every year at Magnificent Motors and a few other shows, but like you, have never seen the Cortina. The owners weren't around when we passed sadly, be interesting to know if all three are owned by the same family.
  2. A few pics from this morning (before it chucked it down). Massive show with lots of different vehicles. First time we've been, but will definately be going back next year! Anyway, here are a few of the Fords ...
  3. Some great piccies. Have a few of mine too
  4. I recognise that dark blue 4 door .... Great to see some different pics, especially of some of the cars I missed! A
  5. Brilliant show (loads to do and see), brilliant weather (despite the forcast) and brilliant cars .... and best of all its totally free for exhibitors!
  6. Not sure if this is the right place to post, so please feel free to move Went to Laughton Spring Fair over the weekend, there were some really nice OSFs there. Have posted some pics here if anyone's interested: http://www.pbase.com/annierat1/laughton09 I'm afraid you'll have to pick out your own Ford pics though, as there's rather a lot and I can't be bothered to sort them out Cheers Annette (sorry, meant to put this in general chat!)
  7. Hi All This just arrived in my inbox, not sure if it's of interest to anyone http://www.scalemodels.co.uk/scxescort.html Cheers! Annette
  8. Hi All Just had the proof through for our 4 door, really pleased with it, and as it didn't cost us anything (won in a raffle) thought I'd give Graeme's site a quick plug (hope this is OK !) as a thank you. These pictures make a really unusual and personal gift - and look great framed. http://www.classiccarportraits.co.uk/ Ford list: http://www.classiccarportraits.co.uk/pa ... d_cars.htm and our car 'de-personalised': http://www.classiccarportraits.co.uk/pa ... dr6874.htm Cheers Annette
  9. Sure do (they're all in working order), though some are 'raced' more gently than others. Haven't had a track down for a while though, 'tis hard to find space with a three year old and his mega bloks all over the floor
  10. Oh plop!! They do on mine ... not sure how to fix that ... err .. they're all available on the link in my post if that helps Just click on the small pic for a bigger version!
  11. Here's a few of the Fords .... The rest (inc LOTS of non Ford!) can be found here: www.pbase.com/annierat1/scalextric - you'll have to pick out your own Fords tho - there's tons more! Cheers Annette
  12. Nice one - we have a few of those too. You can buy repro bumpers, not sure if I'm allowed to post details, so pm me if interested and I'll pass the company's details on Cheers Annette
  13. Thanks peeps! Got a new (full) front bumper for her, I'm still in two minds about adding that, but I guess it would help prevent any 'ouches' on the new paintwork.
  14. Nowhere near as fantastic as some of the cars on this site, but here's our 4 door MK1. This how she was .... ... has now been resprayed (pretty much the same colour, minus the rust!). Some more pics here if you're really bored http://www.pbase.com/annierat1/escort - sadly only a few rubbish ones after the respray - when we're not working it's either been dark or raining or both since we got her back Can't wait to get out and about a bit in her tho! Cheers Annette
  15. We'll definately be using ours - the heater's broken .... it's stuck to on, so very toasty! Not quite so much fun in the summer though ... now we've had the door seals done we won't even get 'air conditioning' any more!
