  3. You missed a good night mate. first time i've been but knew some of the lads from capripower. lots of laughs, lovely looking cars and generally a good time. Don't know when i'll be at next one as my capri's now been garaged over the winter, i'd be shot or skinned alive if i came in my daily driver (vaux)

  8. Chris you cheeky swine, my Cav is tastefully modified, lowering and different alloys only, Can't stand neons or tacked on rubbish i'll bring the Capri (it wasn't broke it was having a holiday to get it's track rod ends done ), it'll be her last trip out till february though. She's going into hibernation over winter
  9. Thought i'd post some pics up of my pride and joy. By the way , the puddle by the back wheel isn't a fuel leak, it had been totally bucketing down with rain seconds earlier. the white half leather Recaro's (will get better pics later on) My Favourite eat your heart out bodie and doyle hope you like them
  10. hello and welcome Leanne, bit of a newbie here myself
  11. Hey Chris, i've only got to post once more (this one) i'm not spamming the boards lol yep deffo see you at next weeks liverpool meet. Be the last time the Cars out, it's having some jobs done over the winter, so will be hibernating till february
  12. Have to go out and get that now, good excuse to go out in the Capri, as my nearest stockist of it is milllllllllllllles away
  13. As said mate, think everyone feels like that at times, its the joys of cars (or woes). ive had to do quite a bit of work to the Capri whilst still keeping on top of any problems my other car has as well. I don't know hardly anything about cars, so have to rely on my dads old mates for help and good friends. It does get you down so i can sympathise, but it'll all be worth it in the end believe me. Oh and as for the security, i'm sure i can lend you my Dobermann, she loves sitting in cars
  14. I should be at this one. was going to the first one, but had to get some work done on the Capri. from the pics on CP it looked a good nite.
  15. Thank you. i can't post pics up yet, but thats my baby in my sig
  16. 390004788663 310096609625 Those are the ebay numbers, sorry i can't post links yet just bought my 2 they look stunning
  17. Cheers everyone for the warm welcome. I do love driving the Capri, had some bloke in a Zafira stop me at the lights the other day to beep and shout the Capri was lovely, that did make me smile
  18. Not long, my dad bought it last january (it was advertised on here awhile ago by a chap in Blackpool) it's got distinctive white half leather recaros. reason it means so much is my dad loved it and polished it almost daily, and it was the last thing he bought. Ive always loved Capri's and have owned 2 of my own in the past, so this is definately staying put
  19. Thanks for the welcomes. I'm sure my dad would be over the moon i've kept the Capri. first thing i did was get the front brakes sorted. they were badly warped and the Capri had terrible wheel wobble coming through the steering wheel. Don't think my dad noticed as he was used to driving a 1968 moggy minor Got a few other little things to do on her, but she's coming off the road over winter so the work can be done ready for next years shows.
  20. Hi everyone thought i'd come and introduce myself. names Anita, and i own a 1.6 White Ford Capri Laser. I came to own it after my dad sadly passed away 5 months ago and i couldnt bear to part with it, after we already had to sell his much loved morris minor. So i took over ownership (along with my own car) i got to here about your site via Capri Power. will post some pics up very soon anita
