just got the gold mk1 capper back on road after doing engine and bay up and want to know when the next meet is at the crofton arms -
i had the same problem 3 years ago but kept the v4 and she runs like a dream and like the other guy said they are getting rare so money wise it may be best to keep it a v4 ps if you need any v4 advice pm me

you can date the build date of your car from the vin number any ford club should be able to help

nice mk2 my mk1 as done 20,000 from new

the cut off date is 5th jan 1973 your car as to have been built before that date even if its registerd after that date

i have a 2000cc v4 and have been told that i can bolt a 5 speed type 9 box straight to the engine block is this right or do i need to do any thing else to make it fit
