  1. in the dry its nto good unless you end up with a 2.8i diff and a shit load of torque but in the wet its piss easy, my engines slighty worn and dying a slow death but it still loves to get it sideways at the smallest of roundabouts i just turn let it go light a bit.....hit the gas in first gear and let her slide and then when i want to come out of it i dip the clutch in then get it straight and pootle along again at 25 down the street not so good when your boss is behind you and he tries to copy in his L200 though, you die of laughter
  2. superb capri features you put in the mag ben, bieng young and having my first osf project its really given me the inspiration to see it through no matter the cost to wallet and body keep up the work cracking mag never fault it for its cars....everyone will always say "not enough of this model" or "too much of that model" but thats the general public for you.. i write small features for my mates on their cars but could only ever hope to get where you are today! KEEP IT UP!!!
  3. superb mate top man, morley never fails to deliver
  4. just as a thought, we have a police representative from our local force on a couple of our car clubs that relays any information to us regardless of wether its right or wrong they follow the rules....can we not have someone from a police force or a representative from Traffic Police somewhere in the country that could give up a couple of hours every day like what our one does and answer any questions answered???? would clear up a lot of information from anything and then give the police a good bit of thanks and good reports for actually helping the car community out for a change rather than slate us all for boy racers and polluting atmosphere and the rest of it!!
  5. post these up mate im from cowdenbeath and a regular at the 'wall would be good to see how its changed in many years!

Morris Minor (sold this morning very sad to see her go) Ford Capri 1.6 laser (current car for myself) finally got on the old skool ford path after living in its wake for so long...next car i think will either be a pop or an anglia maybe or if i can afford it a mk1 fiesta or mk2 escort... love my old fords and can never get enough of them

  11. just thought id pop in and say hello to you all.... been a ford nut for a long time since i had my first ford (xr2i fiesta although my roots go back to my dads first ford a 1.6 orion) currently taking ownership of a 1986 D-Reg capri 1.6 Laser from the old owner from Edinburgh for a small bargain. the car itself is in good condition although it needs new front wings, rear arches repaired and a good clean all round. other than that its just your typical 22 year old car imo.... will get some pics up in the capri section as soon as possible of the car and the list of what i plan to do with it once i have a good look at the car. hope to speak to you all on here soon! cheeRS Neil
