Well after a week got no response so thought it may be to hi a price. Needs to go. So thought it put it on eBay as wider market, so it's no longer 6500. Iv lowered it to 6000 so on here as well. So if you want the car make an offer or better still come look at the car and then make an offer.. Not trying to rip anyone off, it's also advertised on the old skool ford forum to. With the same price. Anyway it's not a case of wanting to sell the car it's a case of having to.

unfortunately up for sale is my beautiful capri, where do i begin. i bought the car from stuart at restore a ford last year with the intention of keeping for lengthly period of time however my living circumstances have changed and I'm in the process of saving for a deposit on a house. anyway about the car: the shell is solid and has stunning paintwork, sparkles nice in the sunlight. the colour is ford pacifica blue, with mk2s decals. mk2 bumpers, mk2 grill, 2.8 recaro half leather interior and 2.8 headliner, dash in great condition (no cracks) fully working heater, 2.8 bilstien rear shocks and 2.8 single leaf springs 2.8 bilstein grp1 wedged and lowered front suspension. new track control arms with polybushes and polybushed anti roll bar, 2.8 front brakes fully rebuilt with stainless pistons. ebc vented discs and black stuff pads braided brake hoses, brakes work very well 2.1 pinto engine big valve unleaded head, newman p4 camshaft, twin 45 carbs, bestek electronic rally dizzy, burton alloy rocker cover, 421 manifold, facet electronic fuel pump, new water pump + new cam belt, electronic cooling fan with electric thermostat (engine was rolling road tuned at cck historic http://www.restore-a-ford.co.uk/SB_Mk3Laser.html http://www.cckhistoric.com/matt-dawsons-pinto-power-capri-rolling-road/ i would like £6500. Hi for sale is my girlfriends mini here is a copy of the ad from gumtree. Up for sale is my limited edition Classic mini Rio called Marvin, he's dressed in original 'Paul Smith Black'. He comes with 12 months MOT and 7months tax. I have owned this car for 5 years the car has 65200 genuine miles with MOT's to prove this. The car has a 1275cc engine which is fitted with stage 1 kit, manifold LCB manifold and stainless steel RC40 exhaust system, which gives the car a nice sporty sound and performance- it has good oil pressure and pulls very well and drives very smooth, car is also fitted with minispares 2 core radiator. This car is fitted with hi-lo adjustable suspension and minisport alloy 4 pot calipers anodised in purple with 7.9" grooved discs which are a vast improvement over standard brakes. Marvin sits on 10"X6" Mamba deep dished alloys with falken tyres. Mirrors are Rover mini Cooper type which are colour coded 'Paul Smith Black' as are the wheel arches. Car has good solid subframes. Car had full front end replaced 18 months ago including scuttle panel, wings, and front panel all professionally done using genuine parts (No rust at all on front end!) New clear flat glassed indicators were fitted, lucas made which are quite unique!- never seen them on another. Car is factory fitted with sunroof - which doesn't leak. Original Rio interior, no rips or tears to seats, original Rover moulded carpets. Mountney Steering wheel. Brushed alloy dashboard with rev counter, oil pressure and voltmeter as additional gauges- all electrics work! Kenwood CD player with aux - 6X9 speakers and rare MG Metro Turbo door bins with speakers which use the existing fixings. Car is fitted with a black boot lining kit. Recently serviced - new oil and filter, new dizzy cap and rotor arm, new spark plugs. Car comes with lots of paperwork including original receipt of sale from Caffyns, Some service history from Caffyns, MOT's dating back to 1999 and some receipts too. Bad Bits Small tear in headliner - passenger side infront of sun visor. Slight bubbling to drivers side A-Panel. Offside rear wheel arch, paint bubbled, slight bubbling around rear screen - nothing major. Car has had some welding done to the floor, but to a very high standard. BUYERS BEWARE!! Hi guys, up for sale is my first capri which i've owned since 2008. The car has 6 months road tax and 8 months MOT it has 97740 miles on the clock with MOT's dating back to 1993 to prove it. The car is showing signs of its age and body will require some attention. worst bits are scuttle panel and nearside rear wheel arch, the car comes with a replacement scuttle panel. I have never had any problems with MOTing the car it passed this year with no advisories and last year it needed a side repeater bulb. chassis and floor are in good condition, as are the strut tops. The car has 7x13 minilight wheels and yokohama tyres with loads of tread left on them, new callipers, discs and pads, brake master cylinder, goodridge braided hose kit, lowered 1inch front and back, recaro 2.8i interior, new rear wheel bearings, fresh diff oil, the engine is a 2.0 which runs very well nice and quiet no nasty rattles has excellent oil pressure, I was told it had been fully rebuilt but I have no paper proof of that, it does have a brand new carb and inlet and looks very clean under the bonnet. It has 5 speed transmission that still feels very positive no whines etc. All in all the car is very solid underneath with a good engine and gearbox, good brakes and suspension, good interior. she just wants a new loving owner who could sort out her body issues. I have a genuine reason for sale which is I have too many projects and rather than see this car get neglected i'd rather sell her to someone who will give her the attention she deserves.
