Want to stay as original as possible, but damn i love the clubman seats lol Ps cheers Vista we posted at the same time i think your reply answers my question, why do all the "know it alls" at shows tell you what is right and wrong when clearly they have no clue themselves lol.
  3. Hi bit of a dumb question but thinking of changing the interior on my mex to the clubman seats etc at present i have the RS "rolltops" i think, what interior was supplied with the car ie mexico as standard?? Hello, might be a daft question but i want to see if there would be any benifit for changing my fuel pump from a mechanical unit to electrical unit, there is no reason to do this as the car runs 100% just asking if the change is benificial in terma of performance etc?? Xflow on 40s at present many thanks in advance Lee

For the love of all thats good.....i MUST now get my car that way!!!! wether on mounds or not lol Do you know if you regain the "angle" or camber with normal single leafs fitted.... my car is slammed but cannot get her any lower due to the "angle" or de camber on the rear wheels they are litterally 3mm from the rear arches even with like u 175/50s! also i dont get the much travel anyway i have AVO Shocks on her....even set to the "softest" setting i get no where near what you are getting there!!!!! wonder if that too is the springs??? 25. Thanks for the kind comments, it is quite dirty although admittedly not filthy lol feel like a big head now!! All i meant was it has been in storage for a while and they were the pics taken without being cleaned (litterally rolled out 5 mins before pics taken) I have owned the car for nearly 2 years now and to be honest 90% of the "graft" was done by the previous owner, i have mainy done the engine bay and cosmetic bits to my taste. Ie the 40s , wheels, suspension, and some interior "tidy ups" and mainly tried to restore her to how good henry intended with some slight mods for styling purposes, and the carbs shall we say audio pleasantries lol. i searched and searched for 4 years for the "right" car and found this eventually, i wanted a genuine type 49 body and a car as oringinal as possible as i am a member of the RS owners club and have been for years...mainly newer cosworths rs turbos etc but the mk1s have always been my dream cars so i took the plunge. Very happy you all like her and am very grateful for the kind comments by everyone Ps Great site glad i joined, also are there any meets in the midlands area would love to come along regards
