  1. need to speak to dave bean in the usa if you want an alloy block; http://www.davebean.com/specials6.htm#TCBlock yeah, Cosworth had a development engine called the BDF which was based on an Ashcroft siamese block with brazed in steel liners and a 88.9 mm bore - made 275bhp Brian Hart decided he didn't like the idea of brazed in liners and then started casting the alloy block - Ford only became aware of these blocks when Peter Ashcroft visited Brians workshop and tripped over one! This is what became the BDG
  2. try here; http://www.ford-aquaplane.co.uk/ they repro most of the original aquaplane bits, click on 'parts' at the top
  3. in that pic its still running the twin SU set-up, later Hilborn injection was fitted - mechanical i think. engine was 1650, based on a pre x-flo iirc. centric blower running @ 17.0 psi. it covered the 1/4 mile in 12.5 with a terminal speed of 115 mph running this set-up thats a feckin quick time in anyone's book imho but must of been mind bending back in the day me too, wonder where it is now?
  4. nice work, looks like a tidy installation reminds me of alan allard's dragon anglia with the blower hanging out the bonnet like that
  5. looks already but you could drop it some more to make it look
