MY mk1 fiesta project is for sale on ebay here : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=121090954133 Ford fiesta project Brand new unfitted (some not pictured): Front panel passenger wing both front floors both outter sills both rear corners both rear arches fibreglass bonnet The car itself was a old project i lost heart on because of other projects going on, i already fitted a passenger wing and 2 rust free doors it only needs the panels mentioned and then it will be a solid shell, skuttle panel/rad support, strut tops, boot etc all looks fine. All orginal glass uncracked. Engine i have no idea about, was going to fit a 1.6 zetec. Has a new radiator fitted. Comes with a few spares if i can find them, think i have a spare bumper and maybe the seats and carpet but i cant promise. I realize the panels alone are worth in the region of £400. No offers, The auction will run to the end. Your need a low loader or trailer. I can delivery locally to Essex for cost of fuel and payment cleared. EBAY HAS MORE PICTURES 07593648944 thanks

URGENT HELP. PINTO LEAKING BLOCK OUT OF PLUG?? New question.
Toolbox replied to Toolbox's topic in OLD SKOOL FORD CHAT
I am DAMN sure of that. Anyone know the 100% correct way of correctly bleeding the system? Just leave it to run with the cap off for 15mins??? I put it in with a socket using some instant gasket around the edges. I think im going to get some rad weld in the system tomorrow aswell to be 100% certain. - wouldnt do it any harm anyway?? I got the plug from half-fords cheers posse. -
Got home last night with a cloud of smoke under the bonnet. Had a look this morning and it seems that next to the exhaust manifold on the block there is like a round plug and coolant is pissing out of it when i start the engine onto the exhaust manifold. Can anyone help with fixing this???? Shed some light?? thanks ( 2.0 pinto btw)

Anyone around essex to tune my car?? timing and 40s?
Toolbox replied to Toolbox's topic in OLD SKOOL FORD CHAT
I just changed the oil yesterday to 15/40 I havnt checked the head gasket yet, a mate of mine has a pressure tester i think ill use later in the week. Does anyone know what sort of reading i should be looking at??? Ive washed out the entire system and ran the car for about 15minutes to get the air bubbles out. Would that be good enough?? My rad also has 99% of the fins on it and as far as i can tell is a original pinto rad. The car doesnt smoke or anything. -
Hi all, Having a few problems with over heating, after replacing basically everything ive narrowed it down to the timing being out. Anyone around the essex area could set it up for me?? I also have a pair of dcoe 40s to fit which will need minor tuning, again id appreciate some help with this? Anyone know any reputational garages??? thanks

Thanks guys, and cheers for the link however for the money i think ill buy some tubing from www.jetex.com and make my own. Copey, do you mind me asking where you got your grill from? Ive searched ebay but no luck, was it a custom jobey? Im thinking of converting it 2 just 2 single lights instead of the 4 and have 2 7'' triangle spot lights for the main beems under the bumper... been done before? I remeber seeing a picture of one but cant remeber what they done about the left over hole and grill. Anyone know of any fibreglass bonnets on the market aswell?? thanks -

Its the look im going for. Wanting to black the rear windows about 25% aswell. Can anyone give me some advise on where to get some fibreglass goodies?? I also cant find ANYWHERE that stock aftermarket exhausts for mk2/3 carpris running a pinto. DIY?? -
Hi all, Just thought i would introduce myself My names rickie and i own a mk3 2.0 Ford Capri that i bought from a guy on here about 5 months ago. Just thought i would put up some pictures of it and a few bits ive done. Since owning it ive lowered it -2'' all round, added a eletric fan (not in pics) from a ford puma - if anyone is interested, the puma fan sits PERFECTLY infront of the rad and still able to put the plate over it. Ive also made a fibreglass splitter for the bottom which i think looks.. ahem... sick Ive also cut out one of the rotting arches and plated n painted (other side to do). The engine has been given a FULL service but is desperate for a new cam (worn) and a set of 45s Its currently fitted with full 2.8 interior but im considering gutting/caging and bucket seats but im not sure if its worth the weight X power? Im also after a set of widened rear arches (xpack?) before i give the car a spray over. Also desperatly need a pair of matching mirrors! Anyways, hello and all comments and critism welcome

Adhesive) ......... £75.28 # Roof Gutter Trim (Chrome or Black) ..

Me and a friend are having the same problem... DOOR WINDOW RUBBERS! Where the heck do you buy replacements? Ours are all cracked and would prefer new ones before the doors rot! lol. For a 4door mk2 escort and capri if it helps. cheers
