  1. Looking through an old Street Machine mag (Jan 86) I came across an article on Tim Adam,s Anglia. It was black with a supercharged 3.0 v6 and had the reg number TPJ 316 F. Is this car still around?
  2. Nice, another one saved, doesn,t look too bad .
  3. Having read that the Maltese Ford guys use Argenta halfshafts as an axle upgrade I am wondering if anyone here knows how to modify them to fit as I have some I am going to fit to an Escort axle?
  4. Going through my magazine collection today sorting out what to get rid of, I came across Street Machine mags going back to 1985. I found in the 4 pot challenge that used to be run at Santa Pod a couple of Fords and wonder what became of them, are they still around? One is a MK1 Escort belonging to Gino Bernadino, reg no. WGH 737 M which was yellow with a black vinyl roof and was running a turbo,ed Lotus twincam. Pretty unique then as well as now I would think. The other was Peter Hayman,s MK4 Cortina in brown with a beige vinyl roof, reg no. ODW 33 R. This was a turbo,ed pinto if I remember right. Are these still around and if not what became of them? Would be interested to know.
  5. i would hope its in storage as my uncle only saw it a few years ago, thanks anyway.
  6. I am wondering if anyone out there could help me. My grandad had a MK1 Zephyr reg. no. SK 4933 in Canterbury green with a tan interior. I know the car still exists and would be interested in getting pictures of it for my dad. All I know is that the car is in England somewhere, my uncle saw it some years ago but has not seen it since, though I,m not sure where. If anyone knows of it could they contact me through this forum. I would like to get pictures of it as a surprise, my dad is 70 and has,nt seen the car since the early seventies. Thanks.
  7. As long as Ive got my Anglia it will have a crossflow. Thinking about turbocharging it for fun. Got plenty of spare ones and bits and am always grabbing more , even seized rusty lumps
  8. Cheers for posting the pics up. Hopefully someone might know something about them.
  9. i quite fancy doing a MK1 Escort as a project but that aint gonna happen without a lottery win. I,m lucky that what I do have I got before the prices went through the roof
  10. In August next year I will have owned my Anglia for 25 years. I am only the second owner {same surname as the first, no relation though}, what,s the longest anyone on here has owned their car for?
  11. Doesnt work, it needs me to re-register , which it wont because my E-mail is already registered.Another thing which annoys me is that pointless "verify your human" question. I,m not going to bother
  12. Anyone on here on this forum. I have tried to log in but it wont let me saying the password is wrong [which it is not]. I cant even re-register because it says someone else has the password and E-mail address [me]. Any help would be appreciated
  13. Not like those, The closest I can think of is the Wood and Picket nudge bars you can get for Mini,s
  14. I have got these "bull bars" that are intended for a MK1 Escort. They fit on with the bumpers and I am told they may have been an optional extra for the 1300E . They are chrome but are rusty {would rechrome}. When I got them they still had the Ford part number label on them and were wrapped in a brown "crepe" type paper. Anyone have any ideas?
  15. The Ford ones are solid and they still have the part numbers on them. They do not look anything like the Grayston ones. If there not worth anything I can cut them for carb spacers.
