iam running 185/55-13 was looking into a 2.3 galaxy engine in my mk1 escort but don't want the hassle of fitting an atlas just wondered if it would take it

how much power will a standard english axle take before there is a good chance of it breaking

hi i am changing my mk1 escort to round lights can i buy any 7 inch light or is there something else i need to look for

i am rebuilding my mk 1 escort 4 door which has had damage to the front panel so i am going to change it my problem is i am not sure if i should keep it original and refit the square lights or change to round ones i like the fact that square is a little bit different but also like the fact i can get new round ones which would look nice and fresh any thoughts guys

spoke to burton today and there are only two types made so i ether have to modify it to fit or send it back so anyone with a 691m please be aware

just wondering what it would look like with the gold as green as the zakspeeds had looks cool tho

i have bought a breather elbow tha goes into the block from burton but it hits the side of the block and will not fit there were only 2 types listed 681or 711 blocks and mine is a 691m so i choose the 681 is this correct and has any one had probs fitting one,any pics would be good so i can see one fitted

have a go on a scrap head first

i think the yb will be around for a while yet as it is always evolving look at burtons all alloy block,the original design might be 20 years old but the engineering isn't

i have welded stainless and mind steel together before with no probs some time performance back boxes are mild steel with stainless tailpipes and they are ok

i am going to buy some trumpets for my mk1 escort but because the engine is out at the moment i can't remember how much room i had i am running a crossflow on twin 40s the trumpets come in ether 16,26,39mm any ideas
