I need someone in Berks/Surrey to set up my carbs, someone mentioned a place in colnbrook but i dont have a name. Anyone know someone they can recommend. They are running but i know they are not set up right.

hi all, I'm about to attempt my first oil change on my mk1 escort with Xflow. I've got some classic car oil 20w 50. Do you think this will be ok to use? P.s any tips or do's and don'ts?

on the subject i have noticed my carbs are popping alot recently why is this?

Thats whats happening but now ive got sparking when i turn the key where the negative is bolted to the engine forgot to say that its the second one, tuning slowly sounds like its gonna start then nothing

is it turning the engine over quickly when your turning the key or is it turning slowly with the odd occasion of it trying to fire up? thats exactly what its doing now its sparking where the negative from battery attaches to the engine when i turn the key

I was using my mk1 escort regulary. and left it for a couple of weeks and now i cant get it to start. im a bit of a novice but ive tested the battery,cleaned contacts removed starter motor and put a battery to it the cog moves dowm the spline,but i dont know what else to check. oh yeah when i turn the key it sounds like it will almost turn over

i got a twin box system with 4-2-1 manifold, the down pipe off the manifold drops so low it scrapes every where and the system had to be modded in more than one place! when i can afford might go for a custom s/steel exhaust. be interested to hear others thoughts on that.

yeah that pic was taken over a year ago it needs some attention coz since that pic the shackles come loose on the lowering blocks and shredded the rear arches GUTTED!!!!! which reminds me can anyone recommend someone to repair the damage. i'll post some pics
