before today i wouldve said 50/50 but having been at ford fair and seeing loads with bubble arches, especially the 3 mexicos on the rsoc stand, I'd say no arches. I think the minimal look is my favourite right now, which is why my mex has standard arches no quarter bumpers and no cibies, but thats just me. Bubble arches do look the teets tho if you fill them with the right wheels.

paypal pound sent, my address is on there. cheers, Joe

are all these spots gone? i put my name down for a pass ages ago but havent heard anything...

excuse the horrible car and weird picture (i just found it on google images when i typed in purple car) this is the sort of colour i mean

yeah i know what you mean. i just read your whole thread in resto, all i can say is "fairplay"! thats gonna be a weapon. whats your insurance gonna be like? Ive never seen a pale purple/mouve mk1. could look pretty dope???

if its a non rs model i'd go with lairy lime green all day long. followed closely behind with daytona yellow. white seems a bit low key but its your car dude.

1 stand pass please, I'm deffo gonna be there. I was on the stand at CF. cheers, Joe

I'm planning on going anyway and was waiting for a thread about a stand so count me in.

looks like my tip off was too slow.

....

i just realised after reading this and looking at my "tickets" that i recieved the other day. they're not actually tickets, they're stand passes. you've sent me 2 when i only need 1 and i havent got any tickets. what should i do??? Joe

it's a 1700 xflow. the springs a 10.5" long. i suppose being longer might make them even softer again. I'll take some pics when i do it.

i posted this in the mk1/2 section but got no replies, anyone shed some light?? i went to burton power yesterday to get some coilover convertion bits and springs. i asked the guy what springs i should use and i'm pretty sure he said that for road use on a mk1 mex i should go for 180 or 190, when i got home and looked in the bag i realised he sold me 170s. are these gonna be a bit soft? i wanna lower it a couple of inches, i bought 2 inch blocks for the back. i'm sure they're fine but i wouldnt know and dont wanna fit them if they're gonna be wrong. cheers fellas Joe

http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... a+lowrider worked now i bought the car when i was about 20 for £750. i sorted out a few bits and had it resprayed and got the hydraulics put it, looking back i should've never had them fitted but i was young, you know how it is. it was the ultimate head turner, wish i'd never sold it now.

still wouldn't let me do it... oh well, i tried
