  5. not had her long, long enough for 15" wheels and twin 3" to go on though another previous toy thats kinda oldskool (well about 90%) was my kit based on a mk1 escort powered by a 1300cc crossflow with a nikki twin choke with a four branch....... with about 12psi in the tyre's it was loadsa fun and constantly sideways (draughty in the winter mind). decided not to put pics up of my darkside cars (rst and xr4x4i jellymould)
  6. Hey was wondering if anyone can give me some info on a few more things involving my 2.8 starting with ignition timing which says 14 degrees for ignition timing (Haynes manual). For example does using modern fuel alter this in some way, do i need to forward the timing and if so how much do you guys recomend ?. To complicate things m unsure if its had new valve seats for unleaded as ive not had her heads of (yet) and i only brought the car a few months back. Previous owner had the heads done but i fear they need to come off again anyway as i think it wasnt done right and theres still a leak....or worse a crack, but i assume it has the standard seats which brings me to the question should i be using a lead replacement suppliment ? if so can anyone recomend a supplier ? I do have bigger plans for a new engine (going the 2.9 with carbs thanks to u guys again for your input) but they will have to wait a little while as im doing other work on her and its one job at a time with the credit crunch ect ect. On the bright side i have done the exhausts and fitted my new wheels pictures to follow......
