Nope but i have with uprated quaiffe units i dont use english shafts, i changed the side gears to atlas, and use heavy duty EN30 quaife atlas shafts in an english casing, try that

i used standard shafts in my orange escort with slicks for over a year and never broke anything

Its a 2.1 pinto, it has AE pistons which are 93.5 mm ( true 2.1) 205 block, hi pressure hi flow oil pump (new) balanced bottom end, big valve head and ported, New HT1 Kent cam and followers, waterpump . I can prove this engine was puting out 184bhp on Sanspeeds rollers (print out) and most of you have seen it in my car, it has no sump, cam pully, thermostat housing, or flywheel, i have also taken the head of for inspection and its in perfect condition. so wots it worth??
