as above does anyone know what a 2ltr pinto efi was when standed bhp from new??

Hi everyone I'm planning on building a pinto turbo for my mk2 escort estate I've already got a 2ltr pinto efi engine and everything I don't wanna spend fortunes building one as I've got a mk1 escort cossy what I'm doing aswell what's the cheapeast way to build a pinto turbo or what ways can I go about it? Thanks for any help

thanks for that mate wont be starting it just yet as ive just picked my twincam engine up lol soo cossy's bin pushed to a side for now

atleast someones with me on that lol everyone made me feel like i made a bad decision but there all young and like fast cars with big turbos!! lol

i couldn't decide if i made the right decision but its to late now lol ive got a cossy engine in bits what im gonna build up in the future wont be no where near the spec my other one was but i carnt have everything it will be like a histroic race car spec when finished if i can still get some of the parts lol

A bloke took hes car into lotus 40years ago!! as compression was low on 1 exhaust valve the car was compression tested and stripped down & fixed and the bloke immigrated to another country sadly he was tracked down and he moved away as he had cancer he died abroad recently a friend of mine purchased the car he only wanted the shell so i got a chance to own the engine but im gonna use the lotus over my yb cosworth now in the car the clocks was showing 4000miles!! engines not seized and turns over freely but will be getting rebuilt to a high standard what do you think........

Hi everyone ive decided to build up my spare cosworth engine but i was going to use and earlie pinto block with out 205 on the side could i steel use it? also could i use it with flat pistons? any help will be really greatfull

Cheers boys i think im gonna do the twincam now i did wanna start racing with the Cossy in the mk1 just like a couple of run what ya brung days and that but ive got a .. little mk3 fiesta what ive built on r1 bike carbs running 50-shots of nos < inoe its not oldSkool but its a toy

jason on the site with the blue mk1 cossy estate has a half cage in hes mayb pm him and see what hes is out off

i havent bin on here in a while as ive bin busy at collage and that ive bin thinking about it for a while and know ive done it ...ive bought a (lotus twincam engine) for my mk1 escort there was a project thread going on it with a (Cossy engine) what do u think?? good choice or not ??

Could u please post some pics of your mk1 escort cossys with bighead radiators please so i can look at the front panell bin having nightmares with mine lol Thanks for any pics or help
