I like the chrome too, but if I really had to cover it, use some satin vinyl, just peel it off when you realise you've dropped a clanger

No, old skool to me is some nice chrome bumpers, I think 1980 is a reasonable suitable cut off, although 1976 was the end of an era for me, hand drawn hand crafted over to the cad computer... I'm not sure what the eighties would be called in time, not shit for a start, theres some great cars, but not as nice as the 60's. IF I had the money, Id be buying a Cortina MK2 series 2 GT or Lotus, Escort MK1 RS, Oh and a Capri MK1 RS and and and... Dam! I gonna need a massive garage... Very true, a MK3 Transit isn't considered old yet on the Transit forum, just an Ole banger MK3's are getting quite rare now and the MK4 even more so, but the MK5 (Smilie) is common as muck even though its the best looking of the 3. The end of the eighties was the end of an era at Ford for me, starting with the Prope and they thought it would replace the Mustang in 89 So what would you call the period between 1980 and 1990 "Middle Skool Ford"

What do you classify as "Old Skool" when I was running a Club in the late 80's early 90's, Cortina MKII's where called 'Modern Classics' 20 years +. So nowdays, what whats an OSF, is there a cut off date? I think my MK3 Transit van is 'Old' its 21 this year but because it looks like a MK5, people don't think its that old, just ugly and out of date...
