    funnily enough, so did I and second in the deluxe section and then second in the best restoration section too and great end to a fantastic weekend here hoping that the 5 clubs all together happens again next year, but with a few more joining in too

    "Classic Ford cars are being stolen to order from Sutton, a collectors car club fears. In the past week, two beautifully restored Fords - one MkII Ford Escort, and a rare Ford Escort Mexico have been stolen from outside collectors houses in Sutton and Purley.........." Well I thought this was all dying down as I'd not heard anything like this for a while - and then on Tuesday at the Surrey Cortina pub meet, I heard about a 2dr MkI Cortina that went missing from the Chessingon area a couple of weeks back When is that actually going to end?

    yup, was a great meet - apart from all the knobs wheelspinning their way up the road when leaving as Richard said when advertising the meet, we've been meeting there for a long while now, and we'd really rather like to keep on meeting there..... nice pics BTW

    yup, it was noted that the rant fell on deaf ears not really very fair on us guys - as Richard said above, we've met at the MoG for a long while now and we'd rather like to keep on meeting there....

    same normally happens to Cortinas too. You never quite get used to it..... great pics though - I'm liking that Taxi best too

    thanks for the comments guys would you believe I'm not actually all that happy with them? only Capri that I spotted was a 2.8 MkIII - but was too buy drooling over the Jim Clakre Lotus Cortina and the Alan Mann Escort to get pics of it
