  2. Title: Ford Popular Deluxe 100E Garage find Text: Runs beautifully. Hardly used since 1979, last MOT'd in 2006, garage stored since. Some fresh fuel, points, plugs and a coil and it now runs superbly. Comes with the chrome side strips not shown. Everything seems to work, even the brakes, heater, wipers, the instrument and interior lights! 4 former keepers, 73,000 miles. I can find no evidence of any welding ever being carried out and it appears not to need any, liberal doses of old oil have prevented the usual corrosion taking hold. There is surface rust on some of the external bodywork but only what would be taken care of during a re spray. Alternatively leave the patina as is. There is a small hand written book detailing all the oil changes in the engine, gearbox and back axle, dynamo brushes, a recon engine and a subsequent later rebuild and de-cokes, fuel used, mileage on holidays, B+B stays as well as lunches and high teas! Ready for an easy restoration or MOT and run as is! Price now £1795.00 07711 564692 Herefordshire Pics shortly.

  6. MORE PICS TO FOLLOW Mk1 Capri 1970. Herefordshire car all it's life. Started life as a 4 cylinder car but early on the original owner decided he should have gone for the 3000 so ordered all the parts to convert new from Ford! Engine, box, atlas axle, badges, bonnet, clocks etc. When it came up for sale in 1999 a friend of the 1st owner bought it with intention of restoration and apart from removing a few parts never got any further. It had a new pair of genuine wings and a front panel which are still good, but it now needs the rest doing. Both sills, rear arch lips, repairs to both sides of the boot, scuttle ends, front floor and strut top repairs. Bonnet and boot lid rusty but doors OK. The usual Mk1 areas. Chassis rails seem all good. Some of the parts removed ie headlights , grille, rear seats and one of the door cards are not with the car but still exist and should follow. I has an excellent dashboard due to the long term storage out of the sun. It needs a full resto but well worth the effort! £1695 ono Tel 07711 564692 HereFordshire

  10. I voted to keep things as they are but have to think an 80's only section would seem a fair compromise?

  13. Here's the thread on the MK2 Zephyr with the full kit fitted that I removed from a barn after sitting for 35 years! viewtopic.php?f=7&t=114972
  14. Well rather than put it back into storage for another few years I have decided to try it on ebay so it's on at 99p start and no reserve! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MK1-FORD-CORTINA- ... 3a64217997
  15. It looks better in the pics than it is but it's a pretty solid car. Really needs a total strip to a shell and rebuild to do it justice. It'll be a long time before I can look at starting it though!
  16. The Mustang is a '66 model built in September '65. Here is a link to a thread on here. http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... c&start=15
