A YBT in an escort does all sorts of jobs it takes your gran to the shops it returns a good fuel economy it wont want constant attention due to going off song it will also put a big smile on your face when you push the loud peddle it will scare the s...t out of you in the wet all in a good motor to have in your escort

Sounds to me like they are being a bit too picky on what they want & as said before this thread has shown some very nice cars which havnt been seen before. the air strip idea with a selection of escorts would be good but it may show that we all can make a better job than they have done. so they may pick a car which may not outshine their car. tawny.

After a few years away from fords(and a divorce)I have finally purchaced a 72 mexico which will be modified as follows,bare metal shell, steel bubble arches,new 2.0 black top zetec.cosworth 2wd gearbox, atlas axle ford motorsort lsd. turreted bilsteins & panhard rod, rear discs.bilstein grp4 struts,wilwood 4 pot calipers on vented discs. Shell nearly done & all bits waiting to be fitted (apart from throttle bodies & ecu). cheers tawny.
