My first classic ford. 1300 base upgraded (via various pintos and gearboxes) to running 2.8 litre with type 9 five speed, lowered, poly bushed. Used and abused it everyday (including using it for work). Now in a sorry state! I wouldn't worry about the old Mk3! We had a good chat the the guy who owns it. He obviously loves the car and is definately going to get any bodywork/new panels sorted and a fresh coat of paint in the near future. He is just looking for a good body shop to sort her out properly. We pointed him in the direction of a local company who is working on a mk1 Capri for a mate.

Today I will be mostly eating....bacon sarnies!
