I still need some parts for my cortina so looks like its going to be the end off the year before i get on the road with it.

I dont think they do it any more.

Ive always got a tube off kwik fit the type u put in a gun and make sure u got it really clean no old crap left on it and u need to run the car up before u do it to get the exhaust really hot or the water in the exhaust will make the sealant run off and dont use nylock nuts and u got to do it up even.

Seems a waste of money to me.

A mot will not make sure u have the right brakes etc for any engine u fit all it really means is on the day they looked at it it was ok.they dont care about things like what type of tyre u would fit as long as there the same size, speed ratings dont matter etc.Over the years i would say a mot have got easy they advise more now.u could have drum brakes with 650bhp and it would pass not good i no i would worry more about old people driving cars they have had for years than someone with mods.U will always get people drives cars which need fixing with a mot or not.

I would stay away from bt if u can i went over the limit and got sent a bill of £120 on top so i went with virgin media or u can try your post office.

Update on this went to the charity at the time i was told to some doris with a beard told me the guy i had to see was running late and can i wait which i did.But why i was waiting they were all looking at me like a was a chav.guy turns up and i could here the doris saying they dont like the look off me and did not want me in the shop,that might be because i was in my work gear old hoodie and dirty jeans lol.I got told they had over booked and i will not be doing my mandatory work here and that they will find it hard to find me any where. So the case continues.I did email the charity before hand telling them that this was forced labour and why would they be part of such a thing,got no reply.

If this was 6 years ago r u sure those rules were in place back then.

Has anyone lost a case in court for this yet as ive only seen wins so far.I sold a van and 4 years later they wanted me to pay a fine and tow fees for no tax when i said i sold it 4 years ago they said they dont care.Turns out he had put it in his name but because they could not find him they came after the owner before. i got a fine of 400pound well i never paid it and it went on for like 6 months,They will try it on.

People drive cars now which are bad with an mot.They drive round with bald tyres brakes hanging out etc.There do if it needs a mot or not,how many pre 60 cars not looked after do u see driving down the road mind u how many r left.If i had a pre 60 car i would worry more about the police picking on me more.

After a day in a shop i be getting community service or a fine that i do no lol.

I worked on the railway but theres not any work where i am at the moment.Its all up north so working in a shop will do a lot to help me find work not,but they dont ask u what u want to do.

Im all for getting help with finding work but that dont happen any more they just look at ways to stop paying u.If your of your head on drugs or been a bum full time they seem to leave u alone but if u have worked for a long time and paid tax etc they dont want to help u.First off i dont do charity apart from giving to the The Poppy Appeal.i will not last a day in a charity shop.

HO poo been told i got to do this for 4weeks so i asked what company they would send me too and what jobs they have.The reply i got back was it would be a charity shop.Fat lot off good that would be and i would not even put that on my cv.This is what they call help back to work being as im 46 and always have worked,I would be all for it if there was a job at the end of it or even a hint off a job but what a joke.So im going to get a t shirt made up and it will say something along the lines of im doing Mandatory slave labour for my job seekers,pics may follow.

For a mk1 i like sahara Beige u dont really see it any more everyone seems to do blue red green yellow,being as i have a cortina mk2 beige would not be a good colour.
