im about same spec as you regarding engine and box. i've just removed 4.1 as it was revving alot at 70 i think 3.7 is the better diff but quite hard to come by ive just fitted 3.5 as i wanted more of a cruiser hope this helps

yes front wing's bolted on it's on the road and usable tax exempt if it don't sell i shall use it a lot of time and money have gone it to it 90% of new part's. home extension is the reason for selling

hi up for sale is my 1971 mk1 ford escort early type dash large switches was a 1600 de luxe now a 2.1 pinto it has taken me 4.5 years to get it to this stage i have a large rebuild photo album engine 2.0 + 60 thou over bore so only just 2.1 fr 32 cam ported large valve head rs sump and mount's turbo sport pulley's 1600 flywheel single 45 on a lynx manifold group 4 alloy radiator silicone hose's malpasi fuel reg electronic ignition (sierra dizi) sportex exhaust system burton cam cover gearbox std type 9 qickshift stick single peice prop plated lsd adjustable gaz front/rear shocks polly bushed tramp bars. has panard rod but not fitted twincam front anti rollbar double width bracket's powder coated wheels and a539 yokohama tyres done less than 300 miles , 9" rear drums new rear shoes cylinder's brake pipes goodridge flex pipes full bare metal respray in le mans green with graphite met decals new magnum front mexico wing's,new front panel,strut top's front floors. door and window rubbers. rear roll cage only 2 front seats, new door cards, window winders and door opener's new head lining,tracker,removable steering wheel im sure there probably lot's more looking for around £15,000

i do like a mk2 escort i only bought this as its tax free maybe the next one will be mk2 . and i dont see a problem with bonnet stay nothing like a bit of 2" by 2" lol
