as you can see now im a bit of a picture whore got some real kool ones soon after ive finished loadin them up to my lap top

been after a new axle for awhile now for the mk5 cortina. but been offered a nos axle the thing is it looks the same maybe abit more stronger looking but the diff raito is one i havent come across in the mk4/5 range cause its 3.77:1 any idea where this could be from or what name of axle it could be? all the mounting points are the same as my koln i ask this because 1.6 saloon is 3.89:1 1.6 saloon option and estate is 4.11:1 2.0 saloon and estate is 3.75:1 and the 2.3 is 3.44:1 so where did 3.77:1 come from? will it be any good in my mk5 1.6 type 9 until i manage to find myself a 2.3 axle for when i put the st170 engine in?

ive polly bushed the whole car inc exhaust rubbers,burton springs and gaz shocks and with the 7x13 and yokos she handles rather well for a old barge and real easy to hold her sideways, but i believe thats why the kolin has chucked its toys out its pram.

thats the thing. im fitting a st170 lump but before i do i need to upgrade the running gear, kolin axle is way to week as ive killed that with my 1.6, ive got for the front capri 2.8 ebc disks and spacer plates for the calipers,but its the backend im worried about,i want to use it as my daily and the odd track days so any advice or help is more than welcome, i know its not going tobe no hotrod being a mk5 but it will be past on to her indoors once my long long long term mk5 2 door project is done.

got offered a axle for £60 but the guy dont know what make it is? all i know is it is off a mk3 1.6 gt any ideas guys and girls?

it was made from a crashed track rst it use to spit 2ft flames from the exhaust every time i gave it some.

i have found with them a lack of communication between people that work there,but saying that it only happened the once and with all the orders they have to deal with once every now and then isnt that bad, but i got two different storys from different people why my part didnt turn up for weeks on end, when all they needed to say is "its out of stock....you will have to wait" but we got there in the end.

years ago i brought a 1100 mk1 2dr for 400 quid as a run around and a rolling shell of a mk1 1300 xl 2dr for 50.use to get mk4/5 cortinas for 50 with short t&t, take all the good bits off and give the rest to the banger boys the one i regret was a manual 2.3 ghia mk5 that had every option one owner s/h mega low miles brought for 150 nicker and i sold it to a so called mate for 500, or the 1500 gt that i found in a barn....the farmer gave me it, new tyres fresh fuel cleaned all the chicken sh!t off real nice car sold it after 3 years for the sum of 550.the cheepest car i got was a black 2.8i capri with 15" brookland wheels for the price of a pint....if i had kept just afew of the fords that passed through my hands ild be a very rich man......who i feel sorry for is the next generation of ford nuts,these cars are going tobe so rare and somuch money they will never hear a old ford on twin 40s giving it large....for example i know of a mk1 cortina one owner and steve who has just turned 18 inherited it when his grandad passed, stored in a garage will never get driven because steve is scared of how much it would cost to repair it.

the wheels on the zody took me ages to make out of billit alloy, my bro has done a mk1 zakspeed escort mk1 rs turbo mk3 escort van bmw e30 tourer and get this a twin engined mini cooper.

i build slot cars so i cant put as much parts on to make them nice as yours but hers a couple ive done

to be honest im getting fed up with not seeing bugger all old fords around here. we have great roads nice views where are the old fords......the guzzlers club seam to only come out in the summer at car shows ( not dissing them, know a few of em and a great laugh)but a v8 supercharged pro street a35 van giving it large in the welsh hills or a low rider kickin its ass end out doesnt sound right.we have classic rallys but the cars have gone after weekend, when i lived down south (pompy)and i had my mk1 esc me and my mates used to just take our cars out for a drive and there was everything from a 1660 x flow ford pop to the sexy acterv8 my mate tonys v8 xpack capri mmmmmm i loved that car.well anyway...... if your in north wales and into your old fords give me a shout maybe we could do a all out attack on ford fair or start a north wales branch of osf come on guys and gals lets sort this sh!t out

driving down the abergele strights doing about 40 with her indoors. just got to were there building the wind farm land site truck pulls out and drops loads of sh!t all over the road (bricks/rocks)all cars everywhere and guess who hits a huge great slab of slate hit front subframe toasted the sump/down pipe/manifold,feeling down harted went on the bay bidded on a brand new ashley 4 branch (booby horn)£20 quid later and £9 p&p i started feeling abit better,so out to the garage i goto throw on another sump, while i was under there lookin at the mess of the rest of the pipe i was thinkin about how nice my mk1s and mk2s use to sound with a janspeed (that and a big block v8 are my frav sounds of all time)so no stupid wiggley pipes for rusty 4 branch,stright pipe janspeed rear box that came off my mk2 esc.lets see if i can make it sound like a proper car, some more good news me and my bro managed to get his classic mini running. its going tobe mad 170 bhp superchaged 1380 doce 50 (evos and scoobys beware)
