  7. Hey guys, new to this I'm on a search for my old Capri, it's a 1984 reg; A93O MNG I live in Norwich, I've heard rumours of it still being around Norfolk done the check on it hasn't been written off or anything but unfortunately it hasn't been taxed or MOT'ed for 10 years now I'm guessing it's rotting somewhere or in someone's garage gathering dust, if anyone has any links or leads on where it could be... Would be very interested in where it is and also want it back! Aiming to restore it if I can get it back as I've just finished my last resoration.. So I'm bored now ahah would be very cool to have back my second car if anyone knows where it is or if it's knocking about please let me know cheers guys! Have a great day! ~! Julien

Walton Bridge Breakfast Club Sunday 6th March 2016 08:00hrs - 12:00hrs (approx) Walton Lane Riverside Car Park, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, KT12 1QW (ish) Google Maps Link... 2016 is well and truly underway now so it's time to get those glorious old cars out, get them polished up and get them down to the Walton Bridge Breakfast Club pronto! The WBBC is chugging into town again and it needs YOU to make it as exciting and as diverse as it has always been! Each and every meet just keeps getting better so please do come along and get involved with your car or just come along and have a peek to see what the WBBC is all about! Without you lot this meet would be nothing so thanks ever so much to you all, you make this meet what it is and I really cannot ask for more than that can I...?! So, what's the deal...?! Walton Bridge Breakfast Club is back YET AGAIN and I want ALL (and I do mean all) you wonderful people to come down in your equally wonderful old/unique/special motors...! You really do need to come along if you're into old/classic/retro/exotic/unique/rusty vehicles as I think this really is the meet for you... Come along to the beautiful riverside in Walton-on-Thames for some good old fried grub (I'm not the healthy eating kind of chap but I can bring a box of Muesli along if anyone wants some!!!), a mug of hot coffee and a chance to have a gander at a superb and varied selection of wonderful classic and exotic vehicles of all types... This is just a little, local meet so all makes and types of classic and distinctly unique vehicle are more than welcome to attend and that is what I encourage... Cars, trucks, tractors, buses, motorbikes and boats (we are right by the river!!!) are all welcome if that's what you've got!!! Please be aware that although the car park is pretty large other members of the public will be using it also so it is all based on a first come, first gets a decent space rule... This is why I've started the meet from 08:00hrs...!!! Please drive carefully and responsibly in the car park and surrounding areas as other people and their families will be casually wandering around and other people do live nearby...!!! Safety and courtesy is paramount so caution and decorum are the keys to keeping everyone happy... Keep your eyes peeled for people on foot as they won't keep their eyes peeled for you is basically what I'm trying to say...!!! I cannot stress the importance of being sensible in the car park enough... Bring your vehicle, bring your family, bring your friends (bring random members of the public if you must!) and don't forget to bring a fully charged camera... So, please do spread the word far and wide and let everyone (and I mean everyone!) know about this meet as I want this to be yet another ruddy good one... 20. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD - PENDING PAYMENT AND COLLECTION. Project Charlton – Ex-Retro Ford project car – 1980 Ford MK2 Escort 1300 Sport – Rolling Shell - £3,250! It is with huge regret I write this advert – it's something I have been putting off for a long time as it marks the end of an era – a huge thanks to everyone involved - for sale due to unforeseen circumstances. Pictures available here on my PhotoBucket account and in a thread on here too - http://s350.photobucket.com/user/Jgambles/library/Project Charlton/For sale 1980 Ford Mk2 Escort 1300 Sport shell for sale (2-door) – As a bit of background I purchased HGU 478V from Marc Stretton when it was originally run in Classic Ford magazine as project car (Grey originally). The car has been treated as my pride and joy and built-up in Retro Ford magazine with no expense spared. It has been signed (on the dashboard) and driven by the legend that is Barry Lee with lots of praise – all documented in Retro Ford. The front-end is in particularly good condition (battery tray professionally removed in 'bay) and the whole car was given a blow-over in Diamond White two and a half years ago. It will come rolling with GAZ Gold 2.5” struts, GAZ eccentric top mounts, Twin-Cam ARB, double-width brackets, flared rear arches, weld-on rear lowering blocks on single leaf rear springs, brackets and mounting points for Milton A-frame kit on English axle (no link bars), front and rear tow eye brackets and weld-in seat mounts (both by Gary at Retro Motorsport), etc. The car has also been professionally under-sealed by a company that prepare army vehicles and off-roaders – superb investment. Full black military-grade Waxoyl, which will see it stands the test of time... Again all documented in Retro Ford. It has sat in a workshop since then and I want to pass it on to someone who can do it justice. Being transparent, there is some rot around one of the rear arches (only discovered when we were flaring it), the doors are showing signs of rot at the bottom (paint peeling around top as we were going to do the black around the windows a la sport), slight pitting in roof (used to have a vinyl roof), some of the filler has sunk around the car, and the front panel is missing some paint where I was planning on fitting a lip spoiler. Oh and the front wing was also damaged slightly when the wheel hit the arch when changing lock-ups. I've been very open, the car isn't mint, but with a bit of work it could look superb. I was building it to compete in... I am looking for £3,250 for the rolling shell (on old RS Four spokes) and I will throw in a freshly painted, matching bonnet and boot (mint) if I get the full asking price – the suspension set-up is worth £600+ alone (rear GAZ shocks are available at extra cost as is Safety Devices roll-cage). No messers please – I won't accept any silly offers - if there's no interest it will be going on eBay and PistonHeads.com. Send me a PM and I will get back to you ASAP - Happy to share my mobile number for those seriously interested. I am based in London, and the car is in Kent - I will therefore be available for viewings 8,9, 15, 16 February (first come, first served) and, potentially, on an evening during the week, if agreed in advance. Further more, everything else from the car will be going up for sale: This includes Hi-Spec M16 (206mm) brake kit, Fibre Glass front and rear bumpers, Fibreglass bonnet and boot, Pro-Alloy fuel cell, Safety Devices 6-point roll-cage, Carbon front and rear door cards, wing mirrors, washer bottle, ARB lip spoiler, 7x13” green wheels, Quiafe straight-cut 'box, MotorDrive seats, Sparco 6-point harnesses (black), dash top, and a full set of rubber seals, glass, laminated front screen, Gartrac BIAS pedal box, the list goes on... I will also be selling the I.K. Engineering 1380 X-Flow. I will follow-up with an advert for all of this later on including prices in the parts section.
