Been into oval some 30 years now since I was a kid with my family who used to race Phil Honeybone, Chris Mobsby, John Witt, Cindy, some friends Roy Fay, John Day, Dave Roberts etc.

Been helping Phil Young for years in Hot Rods which at present we are at Arena Rolling Thunder Show.

Helped Dave Longhurst when he was in Nationals and 2 Litres.

Cant beat abit of oval racing my fav is Mallory Long Track and what Dave does now Silhouettes. :D

Sold the all steel 1700 to Jay for the OSF Classic Hot Rod, had 3 weeks too sort new engine for this saturday 29th which is a 16 valve xe.

Shes all running and ready to race!

The car is a Ludlow 205 which we purchased from Mick Pagden as a rolling car with fresh panels, ex 2 litre hot rod and fitted a 1700 all steel xflow :D

We then had it painted by Winnie in bright yellow, signs by SIX O Paffy.

At present we are 2nd in the points but did lack power over the Pintos and XEs so have now changed to an XE.

The first meeting with the new engine went well, came 3rd in the first heat and then two wins :D

Thanks go too Cossymax for the MBE kit and Carbs, Chris Ludlow for the sump, Chris Ayling for the exhaust, Ebay for the engine and other items!

Big thanks to Dave Longhurst for checking out the engine.

 

The engine is still standard at present while Dave builds up our full works lump :twisted:

So when you fitting the Mk1 Fezza shell then :wink:

 

There was a XE powered 206 where my bro's Cobra was having the zorsts made up, looked great fun. Good luck with it matey!

Xflow was sold to Jay for the OSF classic hot rod, see top post in this section.

Have some steel items 4 sale in parts section.

Next race meeting 12th Aug. Arena Essex 6pm start.

Changed formulas now too Outlaw Hotrods, still have standard engine so against the rest we are down on power.

Had two 4ths and came 3rd in the final. not bad :D

Next meeing is the British championship which some of the Nationals come out too play aswell :D full grid of rip snorting fun :twisted:

Sunday 27th August, afternoon meeting, think start is 2pm.

Must be my ECU and loom and carbs that helped :lol::lol: Glad you got it sorted :wink:

British Open Championship went well, still have standard engine and 20 Outlaws racing!

First heat came 11th, second heat came 10th and came 10th in the final which was won by Andy Doughnut Steward! See mylaps.com for results driver Philip Young.

Next meeting sunday 10th sept 2pm start

Dave Longhurst next meeting Brands Hatch 3rd sept. which is also the Ford Saloon Championship meeting!

Had a good day at Brands today, Dave put his car on pole and won the first race :D

Second race is a reverse grid so started at the back but Dave came through too get 2nd :!::D

Next sunday Arena :D

did u race at smallfields back in the 80s :?: do u remember the ruff squad :?: yellow red and black cars :!:

Yes its a Ludlow car, its for sale if you know anybody that may be interested.

Mick now races at Arena in Outlaws in a 206. Just got back from Wimbo for the Best in Britain and Mick broke a halfshaft in the final :(

We didnt do this meeting as we want to do some testing in the new car first.

First meeting in the 2007 season was last night, new car all sorted but only running spare engine as new one not finished yet :( .

18 Outlaws, started at the back for first heat and got 5th :D .

Won the second heat off the front :D .

First meeting with car and won the final aswell :thumbsup: what a night, this year is going too be good one :D , lots of good cars out there :thumbsup: .

Next meeting sunday April 1st :lol:

April 1st meeting went well even though our tyres went off halfway through second heat :sad:

Won the first heat :D , only 10th in second heat :( , but got 4th in the final :thumbsup:

Mick Pagden was also out with his 206 and got 3rd in the final :thumbsup:

Next meeting April 14th

Latest meeting went well got 3 4th`s, we where playing with set ups so hopefully the next meeting will go well!

Only 8 cars last night :sad:

Won the first heat :D only 5th in the second heat as the rear brakes got a bit hot :shock: and came 3rd in the final, will also have to get new tyres for next meeting and at £277 a pair they not cheap :shock:

Wet meeting last night, first time in this car. Won the first heat :D , 4th in the second and got 3rd in the final :D .

Lets hope its dry for the next meeting on the 9th June.
