ZetecVan 2.0 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 ...(especially Anglias).... Is it scary on the corners (ie, coming on boost)? And what rear axle have you got?
4parajon Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Now why would you want to know this Mr Zetecvan??? Mines fine in the corners, but then Ive got a T3 which has virtually no lag and to be honest without hearing the whoosh anyone would be hard pressed to know mine has a hairdryer strapped to the side. I believe the bigger turbo's T4 are quite laggy but you'd be best asking Driver or SideWaysPig or Mk2Kev as I think they had the T4's. Ive got the standard 2 litre Capri Atlas axle in mine, seems fine at the mo, but it'll be interesting to see how long it lasts when its been mapped. Ive had a price off Fostek for a new Atlas with LSD and Qauife (dont know how you spell it ) shafts for about £1100 if I supply my old axle and its not too bent I budgeted for one before I had the engine put in . Go on Mike.....you know you want too
PIG Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 depends if you want it to be m8,hit boost any where and it spins up tbh.just gotta be a bit careful at times m8.go for it .ive got a gt30 cored t34 type turbo on mine, kevs got a gt30(a big fooker as well)
pelvins Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 havent had too much greif with mine yet, running anglia axel with heavy duty prop and quaife atb , still learning to drive the beast
RETRO_AL Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 you be alright m8 if you arch your car and get some decent wide rubber
