escortmad79 Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 ...found a Mk2 Cortina 1600 Super today that I've known about for a while owned by 2 brothers, it's now sat on their drive behind a pile of sand, flat tyres, going rusty, not been on the road since 2004. Knocked on the door to see if they'll sell it... reply was NO, but they're selling their Rover 100 if I was interested in that (similar to this): oldskoolrover.co.uk anyone?
sab6024 Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Did they give you a reason why they won't sell?
escortmad79 Posted April 5, 2007 Author Report Posted April 5, 2007 Think they've owned it for a few years so sentimentality may come into it. Used to do classic car shows locally but it looks a mess now
antz Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 its a waste! i found out that the mk2 near me that ive wanted for so long has gone! turns out the chassis was twisted and the guy sold it for about £1000 oh well
