cortinaman Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 I've got braided brake hoses on my Mk1 'tina, and I want to take the back axle off to change the springs, give it a paint etc. I'm guessing I can't just clamp off the hoses like you can with rubber ones. So how do I stop the brake fluid p*ss*ng everywhere?? Told you it was a stupid question.
cortinaman Posted April 16, 2007 Author Report Posted April 16, 2007 Bucket I had thought of that! But I would like to keep it in the pipes!!!!!
PAUL MANN Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 r you able to get an old bit of pipe to fit over brake pipe and clamp that off?
quickrack Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 Or get a bolt of correct size and screw it in . You will only lose a little fluid.
cortinaman Posted April 16, 2007 Author Report Posted April 16, 2007 Thanks guys, I knew there must be a way of doing it!
