Stoopid technical question - brake related

I've got braided brake hoses on my Mk1 'tina, and I want to take the back axle off to change the springs, give it a paint etc. I'm guessing I can't just clamp off the hoses like you can with rubber ones. So how do I stop the brake fluid p*ss*ng everywhere??

I had thought of that! But I would like to keep it in the pipes!!!!!

r you able to get an old bit of pipe to fit over brake pipe and clamp that off?

Or get a bolt of correct size and screw it in . You will only lose a little fluid.
