Just taken a look at the new Google Street View - and my Cortina is sitting on my drive! So I've just "reported a problem" (little button at the bottom of the Street View screen) and asked Google to remove my car from the view. No point advertising your car's location on the interweb.

If its the same as the mk1 Three rail boxes reverse is "lift" and across beside second gear (back).

Hi folks Is there anyone around Guildford area who knows anything about Brantz rally trip computers - I've fitted one to the Mk1 'tina - all wired in properly (cheers Mr Bird) but the speedo now doesn't work and the trip isn't counting miles! Help!!! cheers

When I fitted the 2000E box to my 1500GT pre-cross flow I had the centre of the bronze bush machined out to take the spigot bearing what I bought from Burtons - all seems to work well.

Can anyone tell me what cars used the 3 rail 2000E type gearbox - not necessarily with the 2000E ratios just the same casing. 'Cos I've got a 2000E shape box with odd ratios which I'm trying to find out what it came from so I can sell it. It has basically the same ratios as a 2000E box for 2nd, 3rd and 4th but a low 1st gear. Any help welcome!

I used to know a highways engineer who drove a slammed SAAB 95 (and I mean slammed) who used to use it to test out speed bumps that had been put in!!! Thats the sort of highways engineer we need!!!
