  11. Anyone know about having the holes welded and re-ground? Someone on another forum has suggested it - any suggestions who might be able to do it?
  12. Is hamster.
  13. I took the 6" Lotus steels off my Mk1 'tina last night to get access for a bit of rust repair, and noticed the holes seemed to be quite a bit larger than the wheel studs, also the nuts seemed very deep into the wheel (if that makes sense) when done up. Should I be worried, and are the wheels going to fall off? Can anyone help?
  14. No its Kingston Hydraulic Engineers in broad street. They have quoted me £41 + VAT for a seal kit, so I 'm not sure where the remaining £250 comes from - surely its just a case of replacing seals?
  15. Thanks for that Ian, they seem to be very helpful (and about a third of the price!).
  16. Hi folks I've got an old Epco trolley jack - massive heavy beast dating from the fifties or sixties. Anyway, the seals have gone and it doesn't lift anymore. A local hydraulic refurbishing place has quoted me £320 to refurb it. Is it worth it? Or should I get a new one for half that? I don't want to throw away such a nicely made bit of kit but £320 sounds a bit steep. Anyone either know of a cheaper place for refurbing jacks or advice on a new one? (I need a pretty high lift on me jack!) Thanks in advance.
  17. Next one will be 19th June (third Tuesday of the month). We get to the White Hart at 8.00pm ish. See you there?!
