.............While my Capri was being recovered home on a flatbed truck on Friday 21st, I was chatting to the truck driver and he told me the son of the owner of the recovery firm he works for has a MK1 Mex which he is restoring. It seems it is going to be a lot longer in the resto than first imagined.

 

Anyway, I gave him an OSF card, but as he is in the Epsom area, I'm sure he must be aware of us with Boxhill meets etc as there are quite a few members in this little corner of the world.

Its a small world isnt it, last week I went round to have look at a flat on behalf of my brother who is living in Thailand but is soon returning home....anyway I had on my very best T-Shirt, no not my OSF one the other one with The Professionals on it anyway the estate agent saw the capri and asked if I liked them etc and before you know it he was telling me he's in the middle of restoring a mk2 escy 1600 Sport. I spent about 10min taking loadsa piccies of the flat and about 30min talking about OSF etc

He said he'd heard of us lot on here but never been on, so I wonder if he'll join
