its a 1.1 if i striped it out lowerd it and tryed to get the engine tuned what you recon it would go like??? :thumbsup:

 

I don't think that you would make much money from it if that is what you are trying to do. :wink:

Anything will be expensive for a first car but the cheapest option would be to go for the most basic model with the smallest engine to start with :wink:

what jo says and hopefully build your no claim bonus up then it will become cheaper each year

I have a soft spot for a Fizz-Pop, so much so.... I used to own a little 1.1 Mk2. Shame I never got any pic's of it, it has to be the only car I have owned that I never took one of. (Well apart from my bright yellow Mini-Metro... but that's for another day lol)

 

First thing I did to the Fiesta was file the VV carb under 'B', and replaced it with a single choke Weber off a 1.3 Fiesta. That improved the performance somewhat!!! :wink::lol:

i had a mk2 for my first car, couldnt complain at having it and was £50 up on what i bought it for when i sold it :lol:
