Hillclimbing?

Right, how does one go about entering some events? do i need a race licence etc? I just want to have a go and have some fun, not too competitivly because i cant afford it but i just want to have a laugh really. Are there some events where you just run what you brung??

 

any help would be appreciated and i am in the south east area. Cheers all.

you need a speed licence same as sprinting,most hill climb venues run schools where u use you own car.

get in contact with local motorclub if u got a venue near to u then they might run test days where its more open to have non competitive fun,think the PGAC have there national day at a hill climb track but thats for pugs.

 

sign up to the old ford sprint champ as they have a few rounds at hill climbs but then u will need a log booked car unless runing in the standard class
