crapichris Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 sorry I fail to see what's different? The Conservative government back in the 80's (some of you probably weren't born then!) introduced a historic tax class. When Labour re-gained power in 87(??) they immediately stopped the rolling 25 year tax rule which meant the rolling tax had reached 1972. Since then it has always been pre-1973 cars. Looks like this mob on the link are trying to get money/fame/a reputation by stating the absolutely bl**dy obvious. I wish they would re-introduce it as, although I have a pre 1972 car, my other two are 1982 & 1983 so it would certainly save me some bucks to spend on the cars.
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 That news is in the MG Archives from about 1998.
