Thanks to supercharged rob ive tracked down a guy using turbo boost through twin 45s, turns out hes only a few mins from me so will be going over to check out whats needed....

 

So.....looks like its possible after all.

 

just when i was ready to throw in the towel....

 

im after a bosch fuel pump if anyones got one, out of tank type XR3i, 2.8I etc.

could have a set of 4 R5 carbs

 

you got a dump valve heard stories of the butterfly being digested by the engine when it try's to halt the boost

i got a pump in the back of the 3.0, i'll bring it allong on thursday so you can have a look

everybody says that gaz mate, and its simply not true! std 40s can run up the boost fine. but when you really push up the boost, you can buy a kit that converts them to "turbo spec" and is only £40 a carb. bargain i say.

 

actually no, i say............stop wasting your time with carbs and go efi, problems solved
