Smokey try your local factors or Rally design or maybe even burtons or mwr. You after just a standard replacement or uprated? - QH do std replacements, should be available from your local factors mate.

looks spot on like that, the rims work! -
im using it too. do the job properly and itl see you right. very handy for forced induction.. the mapping isnt easy and you got to be comitted to it but theres lots of scope with it, especially the V4 board!

more like 7psi tops! unless you fit a decompression plate, but thats also assuming the engine is in a good state and not knocking or on its last legs.
-
woops! i do a bit of work with 3 phase and fook me it goes with a bang if you get it wrong! dont let it get you down, we all make mistakes. thats what insurance is for (well from a professional point of view anyway). live and learn buddy..

Fookin hate my job, anyone in the same boat?
Supercharged Nat replied to X-pack-Glyn's topic in CHIT CHAT
Chin up mate! I know its hard ive been in a similar situation myself. I wanted to give up on everything, and i mean EVERYTHING. I think id be looking for another job, but maybe in a totally different line of work? try to talk to different people, get a round a bit, find out whats available. do you know anyone who does something you wont mind giving a go?- speak to them, mention you want a new job, maybe even try and get involved a little bit. I know its hard but you have to try not to let it bother you, if you do it will only get worse and like you already said youve gone back to bad ways due to it- do you really want to go there again? dont let your current situation prevent you from moving forward, your CV may only show qualifications for your current line of work, but nows the time to change it. apply those skills to new roles. If you wanna chat, just let me know. Nat. -

agree with last comment. also the 15mm gap between plate and trumpet isnt going to be enough. 30mm is probably getting close to the limits too. id have thought the more space the better. also think about your inlet tubing/ piping. std flexy pipe has ridges which will upset air flow, the smoother the better! if your going to the effort of ram effect and all that, you need to think about smooth flexy pipe. -

air leak OR the secondary throttle butterfly isnt fully closing! -
mixture screw? float height/ needle condition. Im not too familar with the 45's. maybe theres leaky gasket on the barrel or the carb?

you can get proper leather dye.. theres a specific process for changing the colour of leather thats perminate. beige would be the perfect base colour to start with too. the halfords vinyl paint cracks and peals off eventually, no matter how well you prep the material.

balance the calories you take in to the calories you burn- eat more than you burn and you get fat. eat less than you burn you get thin.. cutting down on fatty and high calorie/ empty calorie foods will give you a bit of a head start. also cutting down calories, increase activity. that way you take in less and burn more. the more muscle you build the more calories you burn by simply sitting on your arse watching tv eat healthy, do exercise for at least 20 mins a day (carido types- running cycling, rowing, boxing etc) and youl start to see the difference. if you starting putting on weight, whats changed to cause it?

isnt that a bit unhealthy for the fishies? electric with a speed controller is the way to go for that. (you can go very slow with it) plus how do you drop the rig once your where you want it? do you just tug the line? electric!

we had it last week- you must remember that afternoon last week where the sky was bright and warm? that was summer- now we're preparing for autum

front brakes wont lock up and feel rubbish...
Supercharged Nat replied to Airbag's topic in OLD SKOOL FORD CHAT
i can vouch for that- but they are horrible pads. once hot the stopping was brilliant but in the winter on a cold morning i had better luck with the handbrake! also ate a set of discs in 10,000 miles, pads still look new. -
i would get onto the holley website or google the exact carb you have, i suspect lots of american sites/ forums etc would know all about them. theres also good books on tuning certain carbs, that may give you an insight.
-
impressive stuff. the lean moment on the holley can be fixed im sure. you need to get some info on the holley carb you have. i suspect it have an enrichment device on there some where to compensate for it or the carb can be modified in some way- maybe making the secondaries open slower or something (im not too hot on 4 barrels). was this just power runs or was any tuning done? if no tuning was done, find someone whos knows these carbs and have them tweak the setup
