bmxdave Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Any one want to help me get a bike by sponcering the first timer - tell u wat give me £10 and ill make a vid for u of me falling off I actually had a clothing company no less then a year ago. Irony bikes. We were gonna get into part making (we knew some of the fellows from Hard Dad and Attilla who we couldve used blueprints off) like stems n pedals. In the end we got fed up ( i.e. i passed my test and my friend bought a capri) We did Irony clothing for a bit then thats it, end of. Ive been tempted to re start as 'Car Clothing' making, erm... car clothes. Dunno though, maybe in the future.
Mr Sam Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 learning to fall off is the best way to start, by that i mean learning to roll to absorb the blows etc not just shoving your hands out kinda thing i managed to snap 2 sets of bars and eventually the crank on my ol BMX
GT_Jim Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 its fun to break stuff but costs alot though, ive busted more bike bits than i care to remember
escort new boy Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 snapped handlebars and bin so tight had em welded lol and snapped a crank loqd of shite lol
orionmojo Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 anyone ever been ot hte track down warstock? it used to be a proper race track in the 80's and still has the contrete starter posts. the first jump is proper scary, a real killer if you get it wrong, but after that its well good, just watch out for the crackheads sleeping there, and the broken bottles!

Trevmk3 Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 used to do loads of dirt jumping but stopped when i was building a bike up and never got into it again after, metal pedals smashing your shins to bits gets a bit tedeous after about 2 years so get some shin n knee pads we sarted jumping a small ramp on a dirt bank in a quarry then made some bigger ramps in the bank we then had to upgrade to a sand quarry and built big doubles (i landed on the back of my neck once when i screwed up, the pain was undescribable ) then we built a trail in some woods (had to move trees out the way ) then we got kicked out of there, thats sort of when i stopped, but there are some jumps made by some of the lads i used to ride with and i looks mental to ride, must be at least 30 doubles in this one small area. two of my mates do downhilling now, ones going down to cannock chase to help on a digging/buildind day tommorrow thats it basically
Wessie Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 took the dog for a walk earlier and found a few big dirt jumps up in the woods, theres some big downhill sections up there aswell, fallen off a few times on those
