nitrousnutter Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Well its the Bucket and Spade run on sunday, which is an excellent day out with all sorts of classic cars doing a run from Chatham historic dockyard to palm bay in Thanet and i thought id get my capri cleaned and running ready for it, I hoovered it got the battery on and then looked at the back tyres....oh dear they are fooked, all cracked on the sidewalls and really not good, so i Phoned up my local tyre place (Benjys in thanet) and asked if they had any 205/60/13's as i wanted to go up to that size from the 185/60/13's ive got at the mo, he said im sure i have some..result part worn but at 15 quid a tyre not gonna break the bank!!! I went down in cappa and he said hang on ive got a pair of 185/70/13 BF Goodrich radials with the letters painted white, well i saw em and had to have em, sorry but its style over performance here i think they look the nuts, what do you think.... sorry ive rambled on here lol but just a little bit of my day I thought id share with you...
