Axles and Arches

Right I know it's been gone over a million and one times but I thought i'd ask again just to be sure.

 

MK1 Capri english axles are 48.5 ish inches wide? Mk3 are too wide at 52"? Mk1 Capri atlas are 50" and fit a standard mk1 capri?

 

Reason i'm asking is because i've got some 13x7 slotmags with 0 offset that rub on the outside of the arches but I want to go wider. Does anyone have any pictures of Mk1 Capri bubble arches or RS3100 arches?

 

If I get bubble arches can I stuff wider wheels on and just use an ordinary atlas?

thought all Capri Mk1 axles were 50" wide whilst Mk2/3 were 52" wide.

You can fit a MK3 to a MK1 but you have to use skinny tyres with a big offset wheel.

I think Fibresports in Basildon can still do you a bubble arch kit to order. Not keen on them myself.
