My opinion. We already pay for the police force (I actually like coppers, it's the pen-pushers that wind me up). The government has spunked all our money on jolly ups and expense accounts, so there's nothing left

we pay taxes for the police for exactly this reason, soon it'll be like hospitals like in america where we'll only get police attencance if we've got the valid insurance
