ACE last night.

Popped up to the ACE last night, very nice MK2 Cortina and Red Escort with OSF sun strips in attendance.

 

Some very nice non OSF motors up there as well. First time I had seen inside a Citroen SM up close......what a peach of an interior!!! I wasn't totally convinced by the FIAT 500 with pink trim.....but at least it made me smile!!

 

Also went to 105E meet at Breakspears Arms, Harefield on the way back. One guy had recently bought a superb red 105e with 1500gt running gear/lowered/roll cage etc etc. It too had an OSF sun strip but that had been put on by the previous owner...I think somewhere in Kent. An absolute stunner of a car......if it was anyone on here that prepared it.....a badgers nadgers gold award is fully deserved!

 

And to top it all my angle box made the run along the M40 at a steady 60mph without missing a beat.....HAPPY DAYS

Afraid not......in fact the Mrs said I should have taken a camera, but to be honest I wish I'd taken about three grand and forced the bloke at Harefield to sell!!!

Apparently it's every two months, on second tuesday of the month..I think!

 

It was my first trip there so not 100% sure.

 

Good turn out of about ten cars, and seem quite a friendly bunch as well.

 

Club caters for all Anglias whether stock or modified so quite a cross section of motors.

 

I will try and remember to post a reminder about a week before the next one!
