I have to disagre with Mrs Lead Foot, this is EXACTLY how I pictured posse!!

Sorry guys I don't know how to load them up! I think I have a photo somewhere my ma-in-law took of her telly when I was on (surprisingly clear) and I will try and get someone to help me load it soon...but don't hold your breath!
-
I always look like a dead man walking in a photo, and it scares the be-jeezus out of me, so I avoid it like the plague these days! At the risk of sounding big headed (as if!) I did the weakest link last year and the saying about telly adding ten pounds must have been true becasue I looked like Johny effing Vegas...It did spur me on to lose weight though, and I managed to shed 21lbs..and have kept it off, but just can't lose any more!

Allegedly the General used to get more fan mail and requests for photographs than Daisy did, which considering how kin gorgeous her legs were is pretty impressive....mind you THE(?) General has aged better....Daisy aint so perty now thats for sure, and has definitely added a few pounds from all accounts! After the general, my favourite character from the show was Sheriff Rosco's dog Flash....I often wonder if the same dog was used in Columbo (my all time favourite TV show)....or are all those dogs borderline comatose?

And Killie won! Had to cheer that as I had a thoroughly frustrating day at the Bridge yesterday. Can't see us winning the title this year. I fear Liverpool will win it this season, though Arsenal will run them close "IF" they can avoid any long term injuries to key players. Lack of strength in the squad could be their downfall. And hats off for two cracking goals yesterday by Fabregas and Ade-whatsit...two early contenders for goal of the season!

Truly sad news, and just read that his six year old son was with him too. He was a genuine class act and a great British(Scottish!) sportsman. I just hope he gets the recognition he deserves from the media though I fear he will get a few brief lines whilst some half wit footballers broken toe will get a double page spread. A very sad day indeed.

I've got that t-shirt myself mate....my eldest boy drives me crackers with his poxy play-box-station (or whatever it's called)....mind you there is some hope, he's got into golf big time lately so at least he's out doors some of the time! ( By the way, I bet deep-down the boy does think your pretty cool, it just aint cool for him to show it that's all )

Back in 87 I had a new XR2 and took my (then) Mrs and daughter to the south of France (and back) in it. Trouble was I planned the route down through the mountains and although I used a piece of string on the map to work out the distance I forgot to take into account the climb up and down every effing mountain.....took a lifetime to get there! that made me giggle I thought I had been so effing clever as well.....

Just you and your lad? That sounds like heaven! With that truck as well, I bet you are Superdad to the boy... (maybe I am doing you an injustice and it's your younger brother, either way I bet you are his hero)

Get it in writing mate, you know what "they're" like, come January she'll deny all knowledge without written evidence!

My Mrs made exactly the same point about them leaving the children alone (don't forget the twins are even younger!) as the story broke, and she has very little regard for them on that front. I must say I was dubious about them from early on as they just seemed far too cool clam and collected for my liking. I know he, especially, is used to stressfull situations at work, and needs to remain calm under pressure, but I would have been climbing the walls if one of my nippers went missing. Didn't like all that globe trotting stuff either! As for the cops reaction time, I think we need to remember that this happened in a holiday resort and the old bill must get about half a dozen calls a day reporting missing children that subsequently turn up with an ice cream!

It was a great trip though.....ironically my Daughter who was then aged 5 made the whole trip without any probs, untill we stopped at our local shop when we got back for milk etc, and she promptly threw up all over the back seats..bless her! She's 25 now and got an Alfa and I always threaten to return the favour!!!!

I hear that mate, we aint the cheapest club to go see, my ticket for this saturday cost me £65!! so add the travel card, grub and a few ( ) beers in the 'So Bar' before and after, always an expensive day My season ticket to Bradford City was £138 this year. Bargain! Makes me weep...£850 at the Bridge! My Angle-box only cost £800!!!!!

Chelsea home game means I have to leave the flat in Maidenhead at 12, and don't get back till 7pm...7 hours and close to a ton just for a game of footy..it's getting harder and harder to justify it to her indoors! The other side of the coin is that I have moved my family to Ayrshire (long story won't bore you with it) and I can take my boy to Kilmarnock for a game, costs £25 for the two of us including a pie each, leave home at 2.15 back indoors to loads of brownie points with the Mrs at 5.15pm.

Mate, you've just given me and my mate a bloody good laugh.....I would suggest you are not just IN deep shit, but positively DROWNING in it!!!! I haven't got a clue how you get out of this one, but if you do I'll buy you a pint sometime....Good luck and bon voyage!!

My Mrs is great about it, she loves old cars and actively encourages me to indulge myself (mind you she won't sanction a TR6 yet, reckons the mortgage and shoes for the nippers are more important.WOMEN!!) However, she's not so keen on how much I spend on my season ticket at Stamford Bridge every year. Still, swings and round-a-bouts I suppose!!

Anyone know who can supply a non stainless rear exhaust section(incl. back box) for 1965 997cc Anglia? I know it's a false economy with a full stainless system from the club only(?) £200, but...................... On the same day the exhaust went on my Anglebox, my daily driver lost all it's coolant and landed me with a £500 bill and this week I developed a tooth absyss (spelling?) which has set me back another £300!!!! Probelm is the MOT on the angle box is only two weeks away so i need a quick fix. Help anyone????

That would be Derek and Pam then, one of life's natural double acts!! Yep.....in fairness I met Derek at the Breakspeare arms last month and he was as nice as pie, and very welcoming, but some of the other members looked at me as though I was about to rob them!
